1st - Building

Assalamualaikum
Petronas Twin Tower

Petronas Twin Tower, Malaysia.

Okay, our first entry is about "Building". As you can see above, we choose to write about the Malaysian Tallest Building. It is also in the 6th rank of world's tallest building and The World's Tallest Twin Tower in 1998 to 2004.

Tun Dr. Mahathir was quoted in a program: "Of the five South-East Asian countries, Malaysia was the least known so, we wanted to tell the world that we had arrive". So, the solution is to build the world's tallest building in order to put Malaysia on its own track. They are Petronas Twin Tower.

During the construction of Petronas Twin Tower, it is full of drama and near of disaster. If we compare they with other tower, for example the Willis Tower, inaugurated the twin towers petronas tower higher than even Willis Tower which has more floors and a bigger of spaciousness but Willis Tower antennas are not taken into account as an architectural feature. But the tops of the twin towers of petronas calculated as architectural features because it is not considered as an antenna.

This tower is designed by César Pelli from Argentina in 1998 and takes 7 years to complete it. They also have been built on the bedrock of the most in the world. This tower was build with steel and glass surface to resemble islamic motif because Islam is the official religion of Malaysia.

This tower also use sophisticated structural system that accommodate they slim profile and provide office space without pillars with total area about 560,000 meter. Under this twin tower is shopping complex, Suria KLCC and a hall , Dewan Filharmonik Petronas. The first tower is fully owned by Petronas and the second tower was rented to other company such as Shell, Bloomberg, Microsoft and many more.

Now, this tower on of the pride to Malaysians and because this tower also Malaysia known in the world as developing countries. That's all for our entry about Petronas Twin Tower and hope you like it.
